Welcome to JP Morgan. Currently we are looking for a KYC Relationship Officer (KRO), reporting to the in-region KYC Manager. We will consider the candidates on Analyst, Associate and Senior Associate level.

As a KRO you will partner with Bankers and other stakeholders to ensure all client KYC records are compliant with regulatory standards, and will ensure high quality and timely completion of all client-level due diligence requirements at inception and renewal of client relationships. You will work closely with the Front Office and with clients directly as required to help obtain necessary information to fulfill KYC due diligence.

Job responsibilities:

  • Ensure KYC/AML deliverables are met and hold internal partners accountable
  • Create quality KYC profiles ensuring accuracy, completeness and validity, incorporating multiple risk factors in compliance with global regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrate ownership of the KYC process at a high level and identify gaps and suggest potential process improvement
  • Demonstrate ongoing understanding of KYC/AML processes and work through delays and/or inefficiencies
  • Navigate changing regulatory requirements and competing priorities with agility
  • Manage operational risk effectively through diligent awareness of risks in our processes, escalate appropriate risk items and drive issues to closure
  • Manage renewal cycle of KYC forms with relevant stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Ability to properly identify AML risks and apply AML/KYC policy concepts
  • Exceptionally proficient in English, both verbal and written fluency is necessary
  • KYC/AML/BSA experience (minimum two years; five or more years preferred)
  • Strong time management, organizational, planning and follow-up skills, ability to multi-task effectively, strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to serve as the face of KYC and provide subject matter expertise to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to attend critical meetings during US business hours
  • Travel may be required to support various EMEA client coverage teams

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in financial services
  • Working knowledge of risk factors that may impact specific products and industries
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal groups
